The Mystery on Gelato:How is it Made?

DISCLAIMER! ALL credits go to National Geographic Kids!

Ever wonder about what happens in a Gelato factory? What's added into the mango Gelato you eat?

Lets take a deeper look into this thing.

Firstly, the ingredients have to be EXACTLY measured. Even a mililitre more or less of ANY ingredient can result in a different Gelato.

Second, add the fresh mango!(I'm using mango Gelato as an example here, since it's in the video, too ^^)

Next, we add the FRESH MANGO JUICE!

Now, THE MANGO PUREE! Puree is a smooth cream of liquidized or crushed fruit or vegetables.

Then... THE WATER! THE BEST BEVERAGE ON EARTH!!!

The sugar!! Ahh, the sweet taste of sugar..

Then the STABILIZER! stabiliser is an additive to food which helps to preserve its structure.

Next, WE MIX THE MANGO!

Then, into the machine!

So, how do the machines work? Well, the blades inside it are ice cold, and the spin it to make gelato.

Now they have to do some customer control!

The Science of Drums

DISCLAIMER! ALL credit goes to National Geographic Kids on Youtube

Okay, so how are drums actually made?

Well... The video explains most of it, but if you want a closer, deeper look into this thing, well.. Just look ahead!

Drums are mysterious creatures... Err.. things, to be exact.. ANYWAYS, back to the topic.

The drum shells are made out of thin sheets of wood, cut to size and glued. The reason for using thin papaer-like pieces is because you can bend it.

This thing is also hot so it glues it strongly. And then you have some Freshly baked DRUM SHELL! Drumroll please! *Drumroll*

Then they sand the top and bottom so make it smooth and get rid of any extra glue.

Next they make the top thinner to create a better sound.

After that, they varnish it to give it a GOOD finish, or paint it. Then they sand it and paint it over again! Sometimes they even add Glitter to the shell! And maybe even give it a nice polish?

And then they drill hoes into the shell for the top to get fixed on, so don't think it's something destroying the shell.

And finally, they tune it!

Well then, they go and do the.. Guess... SELLING!
